TEN

Ten that's right 10 people were baptized last night at our local church MSBC (Madison Street Baptist) in Starke, FL! What a blessing it was to see this group of people follow through in obedience with Believer's Baptism.

I think that we often overlook such things or get used to it and don't think much about it when someone gets baptized. But the amazing thing about all of this is that God chooses to move where and when He wants to. He just so happened to move over the past few weeks in 10 people's hearts. Hearts that have been changed forever.

God has used his men here in various ways. Some of the group were saved at youth camp, some were saved at VBS, and others were saved by the revealing of God's Word through solid preaching.

Yes people, God is still at work and choosing to use the Ministers at MSBC.

Stay tuned for more.

These 10 baptisms were a testimony not only to the truth of God's Word being taught on a consistent basis, but also that truth being lived out by God's people.

It is amazing how God worked in spite of all the heart ache for the Kelly family. It is great to have a place where the people take the Word of God seriously.

Truly we are blessed when men revile and persecute us. Let men hate us for truth, the truth will always stand.

I agree completely with your comments. 10 souls were saved Hallelujah what Savior! This week I watched a man and a church conduct itself in a way that brought honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have never felt more humble and yet honored to be a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. It is one thing to say you believe the Word of God. (Which many say they do when in reality they don’t) It is whole different story when you live the Word God. I watched a modern day Job. I watched a church bear one another’s burdens. I watch a church be what a New Testament church is supposes to be. I watch a church sing “How Great is Our God” in the midst of tragedy and mean every last word. Knowing this made no sense in mans eyes but understanding as we have learned in Sunday school that our God is Sovereign God. In closing I would just like to say MSBC keep pressing on your greatest days are before you! Bro Chad keep preaching the wonderful Word of God we are understanding and applying its wonderful truths! To God be the Glory!

God is truly glorified through MSBC. My prayer is always for our Church and leadership. Oh dear God protect them and their families. Through the teaching of our amazing Pastors and the revealing of the truth of God's word Bro. Don Kelly is trusting God and knows God is sovereign and is at peace with the tragic events that affected his family. We love you Brother Don and are praying for your continued strength.

I agree with yout comments. The salvations this week were an honor to our Savior! Then our Pastor, Bro. Chad, conducts one of the most honoring and glorifing funerals I have ever attended. Many people came to me and told me how awesome it was to be able to Praise God and how they felt the presence of the Lord at the funeral. To be able to have this testimony to the community and tribute to the Lord is incredible!

I thank the Lord every day for our pastoral staff. Each and every one of these men love the Lord and more importantly STAND on the word of God. Our shepherd is not afraid to touch the delicate issues from the puplit knowing that it is subjects that are difficult to preach on and not very popular. We have an incredible Minister of Education who obviously has the Hand of God on His life, this is evident in the material that he writes. Our Childrens minister is the best I have seen and consistantly teaches the Word of God to these young souls. Our Youth minister has to be one of the most dynamic that is around. He gets through to these young people like noone I have ever seen. Thank the Lord for our college/rec minister who has throught hte guidance of the Lord produced basketball leagues that have reached out to the lost and started a number of various classes that have helped our community. And our worship minister is the best in the nation. He has supported our pastors and stood by the church throgh thick and thin. I thank the Lord for anentire pastoral staff that teaches, lives and helps us understand the Sovereignty, Holliness and Character of God. I love you MSBC!

Here is what I know! If we have 10 every week, once a month, or everyday, it is God who brings the increase. But He will honor where His truth is preached. Thank God we at MSBC are surrounded by truth!
